Privacy policy

keywords.dev is run by Rocket Gems Ltd. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, and why.
Using it without an account
You can use keywords.dev without signing in. When you do:
- We read the public pages of the sites you ask about, and keep them for a day in a cache shared across users.
- We send the keywords and domains you look up to our data provider, and keep the results for up to 30 days in the same shared cache. The cache isn't linked to you.
- We keep a one-way hash of your IP address for about a day, to apply usage limits.
If you sign in with Google
- We receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- We ask for read-only access to your Google Search Console data, and store an encrypted token so we can fetch that data when you ask.
- We keep a record of each tool call: which tool, when, which AI app, how long it took and whether it failed. It doesn't include what you searched for.
Your Search Console and Bing data
We fetch this data when you ask for it, use it to answer that request, and pass the answer to your AI app. We don't store it, and we don't send your search queries to our keyword data provider. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
keywords.dev's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who we share data with
- DataForSEO, which receives the keywords and domains you look up.
- Google and Microsoft, when you sign in or connect their services.
- Railway, which hosts the service, and Cloudflare, which handles traffic to it.
- Stripe, if you ever make a payment. Stripe handles your card details, and we never see them.
Your AI app receives the results of your requests. Its own privacy policy covers what it does with them.
Your choices
You can remove our access at any time from your Google account or Microsoft account. To see, correct or delete your data, email [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your tokens and tool call records.
